boiler replacement with a highly recommended plumber
Hi everyone, i just finished a boiler replacement with a highly recommended plumber who has done work for a (female) friend of mine and I have to say it was such a relief to have a tradesman that was trustworthy and not patronising towards women, compared to all the other plumbers i had previously who treated me like I was stupid.
Which made me wonder if it would be a possibility for this group to create a “little black book” of tradesmen or builders they have worked with well as women? Even better if there are any good female tradeswomen (is that the word?

Hi, it’s something that I have got in the planning stages! Personally supporting the drive for more professional women and tradeswomen is exceptionally important as there is a drive to up-skill trades and professionals too to improve workmanship and better meet the needs for future renovation standards coming!
I do have no problem with women here recommending people they have worked with and whose work they were happy with as long as they have personal experience.
Our showcase is growing but it’s also very limited.
The truth is it’s not as easy to find enough women!
