    For the UK you normally get around <strong data-start=”76″ data-end=”107″>850–950 kWh per kW per year depending on roof direction and shading. To generate roughly <strong data-start=”169″ data-end=”188″>10,000 kWh/year, you’d likely need about an <strong data-start=”217″ data-end=”236″>11–12 kW system.

    With modern <strong data-start=”253″ data-end=”272″>430–450W panels, that works out at roughly <strong data-start=”300″ data-end=”316″>24–28 panels. A <strong data-start=”320″ data-end=”356″>south-east facing roof in London should still perform fairly well, just slightly less than a perfect south-facing setup.
