I have solar, no battery and a car that has 87kw battery and V2L. We had the solar set up so that we can run the house off the car in the event of a power cut (which we are prone to being fairly rural)

If they are leaving a 800 mm pathway then they don’t need to ask for the agreement

Because your wanting to go right up to the boundary you’ll need one

What is the external skin ? Brickwork or cladding ? What air space is between the external skin & face of the timber frame ? Look carefully at that detail especially at DPC level

I would ask which RIBA stage the package cover, and whether the quote is based on an estimate of the hours the job is likely to take, or deliverables. If you’re assessing ln price only, make sure you compare like for like. I do think it’s important to see these fees in light of the full cost of your project – and also think about who you want to work with throughout your project.

https://www.pluck.co.uk could be another option, but to be honest its not likely you will find shorter lead times that match the quality of Naked Kitchens and the attention to detail, everything then becomes more off the shelf. The lead times on things are always a challenge nowadays!

You just buy them as a product – brands like Faeber, Hib, Crosswater. They can sit on the wall directly or be fitted into a recess. LEDs will need some power to them. – which at this point I am not too sure of the logistics having not yet installed one. https://bathroomsbydesign.com/

Can I suggest you join and get in touch with the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB)? They made the listing categories, they are an amazing organisation. They have a free helpline, have courses you can go on to manage your old property, hugely invest in and encourage heritage trade and crafts. They should be able to help you, or point you in the right direction.

6k Last year to fit a new bath, take a toilet out, add a shower and tile fully for shower and half height everywhere else and new rad (Birmingham)

We have a very similar L shaped layout, except we’re putting bath in. We’ve just a had a quote for materials and labour 4.5k (not including tiles, ceramics and lights)
