Interesting year we had 7 months that were our best ever for those months, 3 months were the worst ever inc June which was lower than the 2 preceding and following months, October was down by 40%, December was 50% higher than the previous best December over all generation was nearly 10% up on last year and 5% up on the previous best, so swings and roundabouts.

Our total expenditure on energy was £346 mostly standing charge and that is for running a 250 yr old 3 bed farmhouse, ASHP with 2 home workers.

I’m also up 10% on the year but surprisingly 20% up on this month. Total energy cost for year is minus £150 including SC.

My solar production is up from 28kWh in Dec 2024 to 84kWh for this month, thanks to the last few weeks of sunshine here on Anglesey

I’ve only had the system since end of November but December has Generated just over 70kwh so not too bad I think. Not exporting yet as awaitingOctopus activating the export tariff but even at that it wouldn’t be much anyway as using it all.

Been trying to do something like this in excel for how much we pay for gas and electric over the years but I can’t seem to get it to group into the months properly it just wigs out.
